Low FODMAP BBQ Sauce
Tomato puree, vinegar, and brown sugar combine to make this garlic-free and onion-free barbeque sauce.

(or tomato puree)

dark brown sugar, packed

cup
apple cider vinegar

teaspoon
Wright's Liquid Smoke*

teaspoon
salt

teaspoon
ground black pepper
Instructions
Combine the tomato sauce, brown sugar, vinegar, liquid smoke, salt and pepper in a medium saucepan.
Bring to a boil, reduce heat to low to medium-low and gently simmer for 20 to 30 minutes, until sauce is reduced and thickened.
Notes
* If you are unable to find liquid smoke, smoked paprika can be used instead to get that smokey flavor.
