Ingredients

  • 1 cup 100% tomato sauce or tomato puree (unsalted)
  • ½ cup white vinegar
  • 1/3 cup sugar
  • 1 teaspoon salt

Instructions

  • Combine ingredients in a medium saucepan and bring to a simmer. Continue simmering over low heat until thickened, about 20 minutes, stirring occasionally.
