Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup light mayonnaise (I use Hellmann's)
  • 1 tablespoon dried chives
  • 1 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • 2 teaspoons granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Worcestershire sauce (optional)
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground paprika
  • 1/4 teaspoon ground black pepper
  • salt to taste

Instructions

  • Whisk together all of the ingredients in a small bowl. Cover and refrigerate. The dressing tastes best after sitting in the fridge at least several hours.
  • Serve over crisp iceberg or butter lettuce.
  • Store covered in the refrigerator up to 1 week.
