…..on my nose and eyelashes. These are a few of my favorite things. And so are these cookies! Since I figured out how to make sugar cookies safe for fructose malabsorption in my Low-Fructose Sugar Cookie Cutouts, I decided to make snowflake cookies again, like I made a couple of years ago (I talk about it in this post).
These cookies are so pretty I wanted to share them with you, but I have to admit that did use a regular sugar-filled icing for these. I used my favorite icing over at Allrecipes: Sugar Cookie Icing. I found out that sometimes you just have to use the real thing to get the effect you want. I used such a thin layer of icing, I figure there isn’t that much fructose per cookie. A small amount of sugar like that usually does not bother me, as long as I don’t eat a dozen of them. But these cookies are so good, I just might!
